Meta Horizon Store

Virtual reality application for Meta Quest featuring 360 virtual experiences of Mexico's most emblematic places: from the Angel of Independence to Chichén Itzá, through archaeological sites, cathedrals, waterfalls and an underwater dive. I built the 360 view loading and transition system and the experience menu, and the app was published as a private Meta app for the company's headsets.

Problem

Visiting Mexico's most emblematic sites requires traveling; an immersive way to explore them from a headset was needed for outreach and demonstrations.

Solution

I built an Unreal Engine application for Meta Quest with a catalog of 360 experiences and a view loading and transition system that keeps immersion intact when switching scenarios.

Result

An app privately published on Meta's platform that lets users tour Mexico's emblematic places in virtual reality from the company's Quest headsets.

360 View Loading and Transition System

Implemented the system that loads and transitions between 360 experiences without breaking immersion, managing media loading and application states.

Private App Release on Meta

Set up the Meta Quest packaging with the Meta Quest SDK and published the application as a private release on Meta's platform for the company's headsets.

The code for this project belongs to the client and cannot be published. What I can show is on this page: the problem, the solution I built, my specific role and screenshots of the product. If what you want is to read my code, that's exactly why I built Ghostline: a complete, playable game with both the C# client repo and the TypeScript API repo open —the same technical judgment I applied here, this time auditable commit by commit.
